The idea for Le Vendome was first conceived by a group of people who shared a common love of two key factors. Firstly their love and passion for the Parisian chic Place Vendome and the lifestyle values it represented. Secondly to have an authentic modern French restaurant that uses the finest ingredient yet serves the best food at affordably prices. With these core values Le Vendome opened it doors on the ground floor of M-Thai Tower on Wireless Road, Bangkok in 2004.
After two successful years at M-Thai Tower it was time for the restaurant, the chef and his team to evolve and move on. From a business location the restaurant has relocated to a residential environment, changing the mood from the city chic to one that is more peaceful and in touch with nature. The restaurant ‘s new home is a delightful two-storey Sukhumvit-style family house with a terrace and pool set in a walled garden. Downstairs a 30-seater dinning room, upstairs two private rooms each accommodating 12 guests and each with their own bathroom.
Le Vendome has achieved a resputation for quality and service that is attracting a high profile clientele such as Ministers, celebrities from the world of entertainment and leaders of the business community.
Despite the change of location and atmosphere, the food, wine and service remains true to its original values – affordable quality but now served a tranquil residential setting. Open for lunch 11.30 am – 2 pm, dinner 6.30 – 10 pm and in the afternoon for a coffee and cake on the terrace beside the pool. Whenever you wish to dine Le Vendome come over and make it your home in a peaceful secluded garden.
